My 1st true love found me on FB after 20 years. I never stopped loving him, but got on with my life. I still have over 100 letters he wrote to me back then. He was "the one" I could never forget. Then one day in Dec. '08 he decided to "find me". He was still serving our country in Afghanistan. We both realized after all that time, we were still in love with each other. We married in Feb. 2010. Thank you Facebook!

I was skeptical at first but it turned out she was a cousin I hadn't seen in over 40 years. She took my contact info and very soon after that there was a message on my phone, "Jean, this is your Mother..." Now the healing and rediscovery begins. It could only happen on Facebook! Thank you!

When Facebook was launched no one had any clue how huge and what magnitude it had in giving people strength in empowering themselves. Facebook has allowed MSers to spread the work on a common venous condition called CCSVI that is being found in almost all MS people. I, along with others, have now been treated with simple angioplasty and have regained some of my health back.

I now have many more friends around the globe, but now, I don't have to wait -- I really can communicate in realtime by chatting online, live. People share ideas about lunch, wonder what's for lunch, posts pics of their lunch, and more. It's like lunch-sourcing for people that A) have a computer B) are on facebook and C) eat lunch. Facebook, I owe you! I have a daughter that I have neither seen nor heard from for the past 31 years, and she found me in August through Facebook! My sweet girl is 45 years old now; along with regaining my daughter, I also gained two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren that I knew nothing about! THANK YOU, FACEBOOK! YOU ARE THE BEST!

My current boyfriend of almost 10 months and I met on Facebook. He added me as a friend and I accepted. He then "liked" a picture of mine, and I messaged him. He chatted me, gave me his number, and everything fell into place! :)

Thank you Facebook! Due to unfortunate circumstances my mother had to leave me when I was 4 years old. I am now 24 and through Facebook I found her and was able to reconnect with the mother I never knew and I found out I have two sisters. I've waited my entire life for this and it was only possible through Facebook. I am forever grateful.

I moved to N.H 5 years ago with my husband. My boys followed us they got married bought a home and had children. I had to move back to R.I I see my grandchildren grow through face book my daughter-in-law post pictures all the time and they write to me. My family is spread out all over the country, but we manage to keep contact almost daily through Facebook. We finally got my Mom to join last week and then my 80+ year old Grandmother joined too. We have four generations of Gzyms represented on Facebook now. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE create options for MORE family members through the relationships section so that i may list my Grandmother too !!

I left my hometown to attend college in CA. A friend called to say she had "found my perfect man." I'm not one for blind dates, so I forgot about it. Later, I was on her Facebook & saw this gorgeous guy in her "Friends" box. Was this him? I sent a message, and he immediately asked for my number. We've been together ever since! I can truly say that without Facebook, I never would’ve met the love of my life.

After 25 years and not seeing my son since he was about 2 months old, we have found each other using facebook. He never new my name and I had no idea where he was. Thanks Facebook for revolutionalizing the way families communicate in a time of crisis.We are stretched from Victoria to New Brunswick and were able to communicate and almost feel as we were in the same room. We were able to get the word out of our missing loved ones to thousands of people in a matter of hours. Facebook has made an unbearable situation, just a little more bearable by feeling connected

who knew FB would be the main communication line I have about my brother who was deployed to and wounded in Afghanistan...? a friend posted/shared a photo of him with the thumbs up. Thank you FB for a great outlet for me to send my daughter a bunch of pictures she didn't know I had of her for her 18th birthday. I couldn't be with her this year and I'm crying crazy tears. Through Facebook I was able to tell all of my family and friends around the world that my wife and I are expected our first child in April 2011. Thank you Facebook for being on the net. I have for years wanted to do something to Honor and Memorialize my dad's passing 11 years ago. My dad was a Veteran and a wonderful dad. I have been reconnected with my true love and soul mate via facebook. Our story started 22 years ago when we met as young teens and we're now working on finally being together again. He lives in England and I'm in the US. He will be giving up his entire life to come here and be with me so that we can spend the remainder of our years loving one another and making up for the 21 years we've been apart.

I would like to thank you for helping me find my best friend from 3rd grade! After moving & losing touch with each other over several years, I knew I wanted to find her.....& I did on FB! I did some research & there she was soooo I quickly friend request her! A week or two later as I was working, she surprised me with her family! It brought tears of joy to my eyes. Thank you so much!
